SBS Transit taking action against bus captain who ran red light at Paya Lebar
An SBS Transit bus was caught on camera running a red light at Paya Lebar Road on Jan 26.
A Stomper alerted Stomp to a video of the incident that was posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.
According to the post, it happened at about 7.15pm.
In the video, bus service 7 is seen making a right turn despite the traffic lights being red.
"We need more responsible bus captains," the post said.
In response to a Stomp query, SBS Transit spokesperson Mrs Grace Wu said: "We take a serious view of this incident and absolutely do not condone the driving behaviour of this Bus Captain.
"Accordingly, we will be taking stern disciplinary action against him."
