Transport operator SBS Transit is taking disciplinary action against a bus captain after he almost sideswiped a car at River Valley Road.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared footage taken from his friend's in-car cameras.

He said the incident happened on Oct at about 12.30pm.

"My friend, who is a Grab driver, received a booking at Nathan Road so he decided to do a last-minute turn," said the Stomper.

"However, he signalled his intention upon receiving the booking."

That was when the driver of bus service 32 started "blasting" his horn at the driver.

"He wanted to sideswipe my friend's car and forced him to the edge of the kerb as shown in the video," the Stomper said.

"I hope the relevant authority can take action against this bus captain who has anger management issues."

In response to a Stomp query, SBS Transit spokesperson Mrs Grace Wu said: "We do not condone the driving behaviour of the bus captain concerned and are taking disciplinary action against him to avoid a recurrence of the incident.

"We apologise to all affected commuters for the distress and inconvenience caused."
