Fire breaks out in Tanah Merah condo, 90 people evacuated
A fire broke out in Urban Vista condominium in Tanah Merah on May 22 and 90 people evacuated.
Stomper Kwok shared a video taken from a distance that shows smoke rising out from the building.
Other videos of the fire was also posted online.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a fire at 22 Tanah Merah Kechil Link at about 5:50pm,.
"The fire involved contents of a room and was extinguished by SCDF using one waterjet.
About 90 people evacuated from the affected block as a precautionary measure, said SCDF.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
