Resident removes meat hung on bamboo poles at Jalan Kukoh corridor after town council visit
A resident has removed slabs of meat that she placed outside her unit at Block 9 Jalan Kukoh following a visit from the town council.
Stomper I first noticed the meat, which he identified as pork, on Tuesday (Jan 5).
The Stomper shared photos and videos showing the meat being hung in a row on bamboo poles along the corridor.
In another video taken on Wednesday morning (Jan 6), a woman can be seen moving the bamboo poles with the meat back into her unit.
In response to a Stomp query, a spokesman for Jalan Besar Town Council said its officer visited the flat that morning to advise the resident, "who removed the meat immediately".
"Our follow-up check at 5pm confirmed that the meat was no longer hung outside the unit," added the spokesman.
