Radio DJ Avery Aloysius Yeo and friends 'approached' by police who 'advise them to disperse' at Clarke Quay
Mediacorp 987FM DJ Avery Aloysius Yeo was caught on camera in an encounter with the police at Clarke Quay in the early hours of June 22.
A video of the incident was posted online by an Instagram user.
It appears to show Yeo with long hair, wearing a white top and black pants, being escorted out of a club by security officers and met with a policeman.
Yeo was celebrating his 30th birthday that night.
In response to a Stomp query, a Mediacorp spokesperson said the national broadcaster is aware of the video.
"Avery and his friends were outside the venue when police officers approached to advise them to disperse," said the spokesperson.
"They left the area shortly after.
"We have no further comments on the matter."
Another Mediacorp radio DJ Sonia Chew had posted on Instagram a photo of herself with Yeo at the party with the caption: "Tonight's agenda: Get @averyaloysius rekt for his 30th. (Status update: He's halfway there.)"

Yeo also posted photos of his birthday party on Facebook the next day and wrote: "Turned 30 over the weekend, threw myself a trivia party and I had my nearest and dearest join me in this life milestone, and I wouldn't have it any other way."
He added: "I guess it's only downhill from here."
