PMD rider shows middle finger 3 times to driver after near-collision on Punggol West Flyover
A man on a personal mobility device (PMD) showed his middle finger to a driver not once, but three times.
Stomper Lee alerted Stomp to the July 11 incident, which was posted on ">Facebook.
In the video, the camcar driver is seen driving along Punggol West Flyover towards Sengkang East Road at 5.25pm.
While entering a lane on the right, the PMD user appears out of nowhere on the right side of the vehicle, causing the driver to sound a long horn.
The PMD user looks back at the driver, flashing a middle finger.
He showed his middle finger again while in between two cars ahead, and then once more before riding off into the distance.
The video also noted that the PMD rider was not wearing a helmet.
One Facebook user commented: "He can continue to show the middle finger when being overrun underneath a vehicle, and that could be the last gesture."
Another said: "Pity the truck driver who is going to pin him under if he still rides in this manner. I am also very sure that he will change into a mouse if the driver is a beefy man who can manage to chase him down."
However, one netizen thought both parties were in the wrong, saying: "I am not supportive of this rider on an illegal e-bike and without a helmet. But I also cannot condone the camcar driver's reckless lane change behavior. What if it was a motorcycle instead? Two wrongs don't make it right."
