Plane skids of runway as severe rainstorm wreaks chaos in HK

A sudden, severe rainstorm is wreaking havoc across Hong Kong and even caused a plane to skid off the runway.
Afternoon school classes had to be cancelled as rainfall got to severe, report Shanghaiist and South China Morning Post.
Some city streets were submerged and traffic was brought to a standstill in multiple areas.
Amidst all this, a China Eastern Airlines flight that was landing at the Hong Kong International Airport during the storm ended up skidding off the runway.
Thankfully, no one was injured after the plane came to a stop at a nearby grass patch.
