'Plane on fire' spotted at Seletar Airport: Here's what really happened
A man was shocked to see what appeared to be a plane on fire at Seletar Airport on July 14.
Stomper Azurin shared a photo he took at 9.29am of fire engines activated to hose down flames, with plumes of black smoke seen rising into the air.
However, Changi Airport Group (CAG), which operates Seletar Airport, has clarified what the Stomper saw.
In response to a Stomp query, a CAG spokesperson said: "This was a fire drill at Seletar this morning."
So, if you were in the area and saw smoke, there's no need to worry. It was all part of a planned exercise.
