PHV driver peeved by passenger who 'misuses' his service to move items including portable aircon
A private-hire vehicle (PHV) driver was frustrated by a passenger whom the driver said was misusing his service.
Stomper Nat said: "I would like to share a story of shameless passenger booking JustGrab for hostel-shifting service."
He had received a JustGrab booking to drive someone from a residential college at the National University of Singapore to Changi Green on Dec 8.
"Upon arrival, I saw that the passenger had a lot of personal belongings," recounted the Stomper.
"I advised him that he should have chosen the service type that provides a larger boot capacity, but he insisted that he had not much belongings and could fit into my car as mine was a six-seater car. Definitely, he could squeeze all his items in."
The Stomper shared photos of multiple bags and a portable air-conditioner packed into his Honda Freed.

"Frustrated and not wanting to argue with him, I completed the job," said the driver, who earned $21.40 for the trip.
"Now even with the wider choice, the misuse of JustGrab is never going to end as there will be passengers who will act blur and book JustGrab as a cheaper option."
Stomp has contacted Grab for more info.
