Was it an April Fools' joke?

A bright-coloured bird was caught looking into a traffic camera aimed at the Johor Bahru Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway on April 1 at 7.15am.

Stomper Joyn shared screenshots of the avian photobomb on the Checkpoint.sg app.

"It was there all Saturday morning. It was probably an escaped bird. I hope the owner spots it and gets it back."

The bird looked like a scarlet macaw, which is a species of parrot.

Did anybody lose one?
