Outrage after tourists grab and squeeze seagull for photos in China
Photos of a seagull being grabbed and squeezed by tourists in China has sparked outrage among netizens.
The tourists were passengers on a boat sailing from the coast of Dalian and lured the seagull on board with some food.
However, when the bird came on board, they grabbed it and passed it around to snap photos.
Shanghaiist reports that despite having its neck and wings squeezed, the seagull managed to make it off the boat without any serious injuries.
One of the other passengers on the boat uploaded photos of the incident online, and they quickly went viral.
Netizens who were enraged by the incident even suggested holding the tourists by the neck for photos to teach them how this feels.
