Once called 'cocky', beautiful Thai fruit juice lady allowing photos again after business dips
She is known as Thailand's most beautiful fruit juice lady.
The fruit juice and smoothie seller at Jodd Fairs night market in Bangkok went viral in 2022, with locals and tourists flocking to her stall for a glimpse of her.
So much so that she had to hire bodyguards for protection, according to 8days.
The woman subsequently ruffled feathers when she stopped allowing non-paying customers to take photos of her and turned her back to anyone who tried to sneak a shot. Some reported being chased away by her bodyguards.
She was also seen telling passers-by not to block the way.
This led to the stall owner having a reputation for being unfriendly, rude, cocky and unsmiling.
A Xiaohongshu user who visited the stall recently said business was slow that day and there were no bodyguards around.
"I was openly taking pictures of her and she didn't bother using an umbrella to block her face anymore," the user added.
Netizens speculated that the fruit juice lady's popularity has dipped, causing business to suffer. Some noted that she can be seen smiling again instead of "always having a glum face".
One user quipped: "No business, no money to hire bodyguards anymore."
