New resident 'petrified' by unexpected neighbours in Punggol BTO estate
She recently moved into a new flat in Punggol, but was not expecting such an overly warm welcome from unexpected guests.
Stomper Atiqah shared a video of monkeys scaling Block 438C Northshore Drive on Dec 31, 2024, at around 4.08pm.
At least five monkeys can be seen.
The resident at Block 435A Northshore Drive said: "We just moved into a new build-To-Order (BTO) flat. Not long after, we were visited by some friendly neighbours. Do come by and say hello to them."
According to Atiqah, the monkeys can be spotted daily at different locations in the estate.
She added: "However, they recently came over to our block after the rooftop garden beside us opened, hoping to find food.
"I was so petrified that I immediately closed all the windows in my house."
