Netizens salute Foodpanda rider seen pushing baby in stroller at Sengkang
Working to earn a living while raising children is no easy feat.
A food delivery rider, who was seen pushing a baby in a stroller while riding a personal mobility device (PMD) in Sengkang, has earned the praise of netizens.
The rider was wearing a Foodpanda shirt and there was a Deliveroo thermal bag on his PMD.
TikTok user @nubtangwenxin posted a video of the incident last week and it has garnered over 200,000 views, 10,000 likes and 900 comments to date.
The video caption said: "Raising a young child and working as a food delivery man. Dad is very capable."
The clip has tugged at heartstrings, with many netizens applauding the man's efforts.
"I am proud of him," said one user.
However, some expressed concern and worry for the rider.
The video has also sparked discussion about the high costs of living, with one netizen saying: "Very sad to see this in Singapore."
Another commented: "In Singapore we are not living, we are surviving."
