A passenger who turned the seats of an MRT train into his personal couch has drawn the ire of netizens.
The 15-second clip posted on Facebook page Singapore Incidents on Oct 21 shows the man lying across three seats, his feet on the third seat, while what appears to be his backpack takes up yet another seat.
He looks at his mobile phone throughout the video, while the other passengers occupying that row of seats appear oblivious to him.
At press time, the clip had garnered 30,000 views, 271 reactions and 89 comments, most of which were disapproving of the man's behaviour.
"Taking up almost 3 seats and shoe on seat, really out of hand," said a Facebook user.
"Lol what more can anyone wish for, MRT breakdown series and this," said another.
One comment in Chinese suggested more CCTVs, while another user said: "Operators should get enforcement to patrol on commuters."
Some were quick to note that the man was wearing a green, long-sleeved T-shirt that appeared to be a Grabfood uniform. "Is that a Grabfood delivery attire?" asked one netizen. "Grab should fire him," another said.
While most netizens were triggered by the clip, some found it amusing.
"Your father's MRT!" said one.
"Just go and sit on him," said another.
