Motorcyclist, 62, dies after accident with car at Jurong Town Hall Road junction

A 62-year-old motorcyclist died in hospital after he got into an accident with a car in Jurong on Sept 1.

The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Jurong East Avenue 1 and Jurong Town Hall Road at around 4.50pm.

The male rider was conveyed unconscious to the hospital, where he subsequently died.

Photos of the accident scene have been circulating on Facebook and show a man lying face down on a road, next to a fallen motorcycle.

Police investigations are ongoing.
