"Money cannot buy this kind of bond": You would be surprised at just who visits Stomper every Christmas
Stomper Angela wanted to share her yearly Christmas gathering of family and friends at her humble Telok Blangah home.
From as long as Angela can remember, her family has long held an annual Christmas celebration to also celebrate the bond between relatives, friends and neighbours.
Said Angela:
"This year was full of pleasant surprises.
"My cousins from Australia appeared and niece from Seattle came by and we had no idea.
"My family used to live at Buffalo Road where we held past Christmas gatherings but even to this day our old neighbours still show up.
"We have people from all over Singapore coming over, from Jurong, Bukit Batok, Hougang and Sengkang.
"My 21-year-old daughter's pre-school teacher is also a regular face and we have invited her over every year since my daughter was two!
"This was just a great gathering especially for my mother who is now 87, to get to see all her loved ones in one place.
"I love these gatherings and it's something I really value.
"Money cannot buy this kind of bond."
