A TikTok post showing three Chagee drinks among Hungry Ghost Festival offerings has gone viral. amusing netizens who shared examples of other unconventional offerings.
The post, captioned, "even ghost try Chagee already, but I haven't", has amassed over 600,000 views and more than 780 comments as of press time.
'Atas type of ghost'
Many netizens were amused by the sight, while others shared examples of other drinks they had spotted among Seventh Month offerings.
"Atas type of ghost," a comment read. Another quipped that the spirit receiving the offer was a "gen z", while someone else suggested offering "strawberry matcha".
Other offerings spotted included Starbucks and Zus coffee. "This ghost should be so lucky," another added.
However, a few commenters reminded others of the practical side, noting the effort required to clean up after the offerings. "Poor cleaners," they said.
