Mercedes driver, 55, arrested for drink driving after crashing into drain at Upper Paya Lebar Road

A 55-year-old man was arrested for drink driving after he crashed his car into a drain near Upper Paya Lebar Road on Jan 30.
The police said they were alerted to the accident along Pereira Road towards Kampong Ampat at around 5.05pm. The car was believed to have skidded.
No injuries were reported.
Videos posted online show the blue Mercedes stuck in a drain after crashing through pedestrian railings. A tow truck was later spotted at the scene.
Police investigations are ongoing.
