McLaren mangled after crashing into ECP road divider, driver taken to hospital

A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital after crashing his McLaren car into a road divider along the East Coast Parkway (ECP) last Wednesday morning (July 7).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car along ECP towards Changi Airport at 7.09am.

The driver was conscious when taken to hospital.

A video posted online shows how the supercar had swerved across three lanes and rammed into the road divider.

Facebook page Roads.sg shared photos of the accident's aftermath and said the driver had skidded and lost control of his car.

A white McLaren can be seen among some bushes at the road divider.

Police investigations are ongoing.
