McDonald's should refund me for missing curry sauce since they are charging for condiments: Stomper
A customer had three curry sauces missing from his McDonald's order and feels that he should get a refund.
Stomper Urikoto said he ordered a 20-piece McNuggets meal from a McDonald's outlet in Jurong East on Feb 21. The order was supposed to come with four curry sauces, but he only received one.
The Stomper said: "Before leaving, I asked the counter staff if they have included my curry sauces and they replied yes, only for me to find out that they only gave me one when I reached home.
"I tried to get a refund for the other three sauces, but was rejected."

Urikoto said he is seeking a $1.50 refund for the missing sauces and not the entire meal.
While he did not pay extra for the sauces as they were supposed to come with the meal, he explained why he wants a refund: "McDonald's is charging us for sauces but when they fail to deliver, we are not entitled to a refund. Is this fair?"
McDonald's Singapore started charging for additional sauces from Jan 2 this year in a bid to manage food waste and rising food costs.
It said the "nominal charge" was for sauces "beyond the allocated quantities for specific menu items" and "takes into consideration the appropriate number of sauce packs to be enjoyed with the food".
