Singapore is known for its vibrant hawker culture, with no lack of delicious and affordable dining options.
Top of the list is Maxwell Food Centre, which has been crowned the country's most popular hawker centre.
Not only does it boast almost two million global searches on Google a year, the #MaxwellFoodCentre hashtag appears on 13,200 Instagram posts, and 86% of its TripAdvisor reviews are rated four stars and above.
Tiong Bahru Market took the second spot, while Lau Pat Sat comes in at third place.
The list was put together by online English tuition platform Preply, which analysed public reviews, Google search volumes, Instagram hashtag data, and Shutterstock images to determine the most popular hawker centres among visitors.
Preply also revealed the most Instagrammable hawker centres.
Once again, Maxwell Food Centre cinched #1.
Located in the heart of Chinatown, the iconic hawker centre is home to Michelin-lauded stalls such as the famous Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice and Maxwell Fuzhou Oyster Cake.
