Man with brother in wheelchair gets into altercation in VivoCity lift lobby, slams 'edited' video of incident
He has shared his side of the story.
A man was caught on camera in an altercation with several people in a lift lobby at VivoCity outside Gong Yuan Ma La Tang restaurant in basement two.
A video of the incident started circulating online on Dec 1.
People can be seen trying to hold back the man with a backpack as he struggled against them.

Mr Suresh Vanaz, who was the man with the backpack, has since posted a nearly six-minute video on social media to explained what happened and accused a Facebook user of posting an "edited" video of the incident, which is no longer available in the Complaint Singapore Facebook group.
In his video, Mr Suresh said: "When there's a lift, when somebody is coming out, what do you do? Give way, right?...
"There's a wheelchair. I'm trying to pull my brother. I have a wheelchair brother.
"Then there's this particular guy, a Malay guy, you know how he reacted or not? 'Hey, bro, you cannot see ah!"
"Brother, God has given me only two eyes. I can only see in front, pull back. You guys have to be like very mindful to give way. God never gave me extra eyes behind.
"When you call me like 'come, come, come, settle, settle'. When I call you, why you run?"
It should be noted that Mr Suresh is a large, muscular man.
He continued: "Brother, be mindful. I have a physically-challenged brother. I'm trying to pull back...But you, what you tried to to do? Block, block, block!
"Use your bloody brain. This is not my first time encountering this kind of situation in Singapore.
"Then you still got the guts to challenge me.
"This is my face. My Facebook name is Suresh Vanaz. You (can) personally contact me. But then after I gave you everything, you say you wanna give me your number, where? Then you run away."
He said another man tried to calm him down.
"When there is a wrong, when somebody is going to be like against a wheelchair guy or with me, you guys have to be mindful to stop them, not me," said Mr Suresh.
"Of course, I got angry when he was trying to challenge my brother and challenge me."
"You have a family who can walk, take the escalator. I have a family member, I can only take the lift to come down."

In the video of the incident, Mr Suresh was so angry that he can be seen picking up the bag of woman who was also trying to calm him down and threw it at a man.
The woman can be heard saying: "Hello, this is my bag."
In his own video, Mr Suresh then went on to slam the Facebook user who posted the "edited" video.
"We people are caregivers, going through stress here in Singapore. But you guys are going, being a keyboard warrior. When I challenge you, call you, you all don't answer."
Mr Suresh added: "This is not the first time that caregivers like me have gone through so much in Singapore. Shame on you!"
