A man was arrested after being seen sitting on the roof of a taxi outside Paya Lebar Square on Tuesday (Nov 10).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of rash act at 60 Paya Lebar Road at 11.10am.

"A 33-year-old man was arrested in relation to the case," said a police spokesman.

Several readers alerted Stomp to a video that has been circulating online, showing the man seated on the roof of a Trans-Cab taxi.

Despite several onlookers trying to coax him down, the man refused to budge, even raising his leg at one man.

Police investigations are ongoing.
