Man walks into wrong theatre -- and wonders why movie is halfway through
A moviegoer was left confused when he entered a cinema excited to watch Predator: Badlands -- only to find the film already halfway through.
Stomper Danny told Stomp that he had booked two tickets for the 10.10pm screening at Shaw Theatres Lido on Nov 7 and arrived with his son just before the indicated showtime on his e-booking.
"I was telling my son they were so punctual to start without trailers or advertisements," he said. "Then it got weird because the movie seemed halfway through."
Puzzled, he checked his e-ticket again.
"It clearly said 10.10pm," he added.
Danny shared a screenshot of his ticket with Stomp.
He added that according to his e-ticket, the screentime mistakenly said the movie was only one hour long.
According to him, the mix-up led to him losing about 45 minutes of screen time.
Stomp understands the Stomper entered the IMAX cinema instead of Lido Hall 2.
"I told them I was ushered in," Danny said.
However, all's well that ends well.
"I'm happy with the outcome," he said.
