Man lying on Yishun road allegedly 'ran into car and injured himself', then accuses driver of hit-and-run
What's going on? Oh, it's Yishun.
A man allegedly ran into car and injured himself, then accused the car driver of hit-and-run.
A video circulating online shows the man lying on the road with a woman standing next to him in front of a stationary Volkswagen Jetta at Yishun Avenue 8 at the junction with Yishun Street 44.
A BMW had also stopped about 1½ car lengths behind the Volkswagen. It is unclear whether either car was damaged.
The person taking the video can be heard saying: "Drama between these two cars. Don't know what happened. They honked each other.
"Then this guy suddenly ran in front of this car (Volkswagen) and injured himself, and then blaming the car."
The woman appeared to be taking photos of the Volkswagen and scolding the driver in the car.
She then walked towards the BMW behind the Volkswagen as the man got up on his own and went to sit on the road divider.

After the woman returned to the man, the Volkswagen driver finally got out of the car and walked to a corner of the junction to speak to another man.
The driver then returned to his car as the man and woman scolded him.
When he drove off, the man sitting on the road divider yelled after the Volkswagen: "Hit-and-run! Hit-and-run!"
The video-taker can be heard commenting: "See? Drama."
According to SG Road Vigilante, which posted the video, the incident happened on Nov 18.
