A man who lost his phone near North Link Building in Admiralty was shocked to find that someone had been attempting to unlock it before turning it off.

Facebook user Jhay Vlogs Cabs 02 shared that he lost his phone on March 18 at about 12.20pm near 30 Admiralty Street, after taking bus service 962.

"I tried calling many times and sending messages, but no one answered," Jhay said, adding that his phone was turned off shortly after.

Fortunately, the phone had an app installed that captures a photo whenever someone tries to unlock it.

The Facebook user has since received photos of the person attempting to access his device.

He has filed a police report and is hoping for assistance in identifying the individual.

"If someone knows this person, please comment down below," he said. "Thank you."
