Man harasses passing vehicles, starts fight in Little India before arrest for public drunkenness
A 24-year-old man was arrested for drunkenness in public and using criminal force to deter a public servant from discharge of his duty in Little India on the night of July 11.
He was caught on camera harassing passing vehicles at the junction of Desker Road and Lembu Road at about 11.25pm.
Stomper Ivan shared dashcam video of the man staggering towards a white car in front of his vehicle.
The car quickly sped up and drove away from the man, who then turned towards Ivan, pointed at his car and stumbled in his direction.
The Stomper made a right turn and drove away as the man remained in the middle of the road while speaking to two other men, who stood on the pavement.
Ivan told Stomp: "It was quite a shock as I didn't expect to witness such an act occurring in Singapore. There wasn't any trigger point in having such an outburst as I did not hear any cars honking at the person."
The Stomper shared photos of damage that the man caused to his side mirror. A few scratches can be seen on the mirror's surface.

"The man was hammering the car in front, and it seems that its damage would have been much more than mine," said the Stomper.
"I was pretty lucky as I managed to quickly escape through a smaller lane on the right, though I had to make a detour. He did not manage to pull out my side mirror, but he managed to bash at it twice."
In another video posted on online, the same man was shown harassing a couple walking by and starting a fight. Punches were thrown before three Certis Cisco officers rushed forward to restrain the man.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at Block 5A Lembu Road at about 11.40pm.
The man and a 56-year-old male auxiliary police officer were taken to hospital.
An opened tobacco sachet was also found in the man's possession and will be referred to the Health Sciences Authority, added the police.
Police investigations are ongoing.
