Man gets called out for sipping on kopi and trying to stuff plastic bag into MRT seat gap
A man was caught drinking kopi in a bag on the train on May 9.
Stomper Anonymous spotted this at 7am on the way to work at Tanjong Pagar MRT station.
"This man drank a full bag of ikat tepi coffee all the way to the station," the Stomper said.
"After finishing it, he squeezed the bag into the smallest size and tried to stuff it into the gap of the chair.
"A man standing in front of him saw it and asked him to take it out."
The video taken by the Stomper showed the man sitting on the train and sipping on a straw.
It was not the first and last time Anonymous spotted someone enjoying a drink on public transport.
The Stomper also shared a separate video of a woman having an iced beverage on the train and said: "Another one."
Stomp has received numerous reports in June about commuters eating on the train. This includes a woman who was caught eating a tomato, two men with green apples, and another passenger who had a waffle.
Even though it keeps happening, eating and drinking is prohibited on the MRT.
Those found guilty face a fine of up to $500.
