Man found dead at foot of Telok Blangah block, 21-year-old woman apprehended
A 29-year-old man was found lying motionless at the foot of Block 17A Telok Blangah Crescent on June 28 and pronounced dead at the scene.
Stomper Irfan shared photos of police vehicles and a blue police tent at the location.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at about 1.15pm.
Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.
A 21-year-old woman was apprehended under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act.
The Act says that the police must apprehend any person who is believed to be in danger to their own life or the life of another person, and is reasonably suspected of suffering from a mental disorder.
It is believed the man and the woman had a quarrel before his body was found, reported Shin Min Daily News.
Police investigations are ongoing.
