Man at Bedok library allegedly blows nose -- and mucus lands on woman's pants: 'I'm so angry!'
A quiet visit to Bedok Public Library took a gross turn for a visitor, who was left disgusted and furious after an elderly man sitting next to her allegedly blew his nose toward her pants.
Stomper Kira told Stomp she was sitting next to the man on May 23 at around lunchtime when the man forcefully shot mucus from his nose towards the ground.
However, instead of landing on the floor, the mucus ended up on Kira's pants.
She said: "It's unhygienic, I'm so angry!"
She recounted how she pointed at her pants and asked the man: "Did you see what you just did?"
The man reportedly looked at her and said, "Oh sorry, it wasn't on purpose," and proceeded to offer her a used tissue, which she promptly declined.
After Kira told him that his behaviour was unhygienic and could spread germs, he responded simply, saying he "knows it's germs".
Kira described him as an "irresponsible, disgusting old man," and called him out for his lack of hygiene in a public space.
