The police received a call for assistance at about 9.20am from the victim, who reported that he was slashed with a knife at 810 Geylang Road, the address for City Plaza.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect purportedly got into a dispute with the victim and used a Swiss Army knife to attack the victim.

Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from CCTV cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the 30-year-old suspect and arrested him within six hours of the incident.
