Man arrested for voyeurism after allegedly taking upskirt videos of woman at Tampines MRT station

A 28-year-old man was arrested for voyeurism after allegedly taking upskirt videos of a woman at Tampines MRT station.
The police received a report about the incident on December 31, 2020, at around 2pm.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from CCTV cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the suspect's identity arrested him on Wednesday (Jan 20).
Preliminary investigations revealed that the man is purportedly involved in other similar cases of voyeurism, said the police.
Investigations are ongoing.
The offence of voyeurism carries a jail term of up to two years and/or a fine and/or caning.
