Man arrested for allegedly stealing van along West Coast Drive

The police have arrested a 32-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of theft of motor vehicle.
On Monday (July 22) at about 9.53pm, the police were alerted that a van, which was parked along West Coast Drive, was missing.
Through ground enquiries and images from police cameras, officers from Clementi Police Division identified the man and arrested him on Tuesday (July 23).
The van was subsequently recovered in the vicinity of West Coast Green Estate.
The man will be charged in court on Thursday (July 25).
If convicted, he will face a jail term of up to seven years and/or a fine.
