Man, 65, arrested for allegedly molesting girl on bus in Yishun

A 65-year-old man was arrested for allegedly molesting a girl on a bus at Yishun Ring Road on April 23.

The police said they received the report at about 10.35am.

Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras and CCTVs, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him within three hours.

He will be charged in court on April 25 with outrage of modesty, which carries an imprisonment term of up to five years, a fine, a caning or any combination of such punishments.
