A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital after the car he was driving was involved in an accident with a tipper truck and a minibus on the Seletar Expressway (SLE) on Saturday afternoon (Sept 30).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video he took while he was passing by the accident scene on a public bus.

In the clip, a worker is seen sweeping debris on the road.

A police car, a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) ambulance and an Expressway Monitoring Advisory System (EMAS) vehicle were also at the scene.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident on the SLE towards the Central Expressway (CTE) before the Woodlands Avenue 12 exit at about 12.40pm.

"A 40-year-old male car driver was conveyed conscious to the hospital," a police spokesperson said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
