Man, 34, taken to hospital after minibus smashes into tree along Jurong Island Highway
A 34-year-old man was taken to hospital after a minibus crashed into a tree along Jurong Island Highway today (Jan 23).
Stompers Shawn and Dead shared photos of the accident that were circulating on WhatsApp.
In the photos, the front of the minibus is almost split in two from where it hit the tree.
In response to Stomp media queries, police said that they were alerted to an accident along Jurong Island Highway at 12.05pm.
"A 34-year-old man was conscious when he was conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH)," a spokesman said.
Police investigations are ongoing.
