Malaysian motorcycle at Woodlands Checkpoint found with concealed drugs worth over $169,000
A Malaysia-registered motorcycle at Woodlands Checkpoint was found with concealed drugs worth over $169,000 on Jan 14 morning.
When Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers conducted checks on the motorcycle ridden by a 21-year-old Malaysian man, they uncovered a black bundle in the front fairing of the motorcycle.
Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) was immediately alerted and its officers then conducted further checks on the motorcycle.
A total of about 4,648g of cannabis, 542g of Ice and 250 Erimin-5 tablets were found concealed at various parts of the motorcycle.

It was enough to feed the addiction of about 970 drug abusers for a week, said CNB.
The drugs have an estimated worth of more than $169,000.
Investigations are ongoing.
Those who import into or export from Singapore more than 500g of cannabis or 250g of methamphetamine may face the death penalty.
