Machinery parts catch fire outside Sungei Kadut warehouse, 20 people evacuated

A fire broke out outside a Sungei Kadut warehouse on Oct 12 evening.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said on social media that it was alerted to the fire at 54 Sungei Kadut Loop at 10.40pm.

About 20 persons evacuated before SCDF's arrival.

Facebook user Police Car Models posted photos of SCDF vehicles and onlookers at the scene.

The fire, involving machinery parts that were stored outside the warehouse, was extinguished using three water jets.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
