Lalamove customer receives compensation for missing Ikea desk -- but says it still isn't enough
A woman is still unsatisfied with Lalamove's customer service even after receiving compensation for her missing order.
Stomper Claudia previously shared her experience with a failed Lalamove delivery on April 20.
Her Ikea desk went missing, and the delivery driver became uncontactable.
She even claimed the unit number in the proof of delivery photo was photoshopped.
On May 7, Lalamove reached out to Stomp to issue a statement.
"We are sorry to hear about this experience and we have already informed the user that the compensation process is underway," a spokesperson said.
"Upon investigation, we found that the item was delivered to the wrong location.
"And we would like to clarify that the photo provided was not edited or photoshopped, as the Lalamove driver app only allows real-time photo capture and upload to allow transparency.
"Additionally, we will conduct internal training for our driver partners to prevent such issues in the future."
Despite Lalamove's response, Claudia still believes not enough was done.
"They emailed to say they compensated me, but no human contacted me," Claudia explained.
"I haven't been given any explanation as to what happened."
Claudia is also unable to reply or receive a response to the automated email Lalamove sent her.
"Do you think this is satisfactory?" Claudia asked.
