A man and a boy were caught on video sprinting across Raffles Boulevard near Millenia Walk on April 13.

Stomper Lee alerted Stomp to dashcam footage shared by SGRV on Facebook of the incident.

The footage shows the pair jaywalking across the busy road when a car honks at them.

The man, seemingly angered, runs toward the oncoming vehicle and points his middle finger at the driver.

While many condemned the man for jaywalking and setting a poor example for the child, others turned their criticism toward the driver for not exercising greater caution.

Several Facebook users noted that the driver had veered into the lane the man and boy were running into, questioning whether the situation could have been avoided.

One Facebook user asked: "So people with driving licences have the licence to kill?"

Another wrote: "To be honest, the driver deserved the middle finger!

"The driver could just slow down and let the family cross over safely.

"Regardless of whether they are jaywalking, pedestrian safety comes first."
