It's a bird, it's a plane... no it's a flying mattress spotted on PIE

A mattress fell off the back of a lorry XD6436G, as it was travelling down the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Tuas on Saturday (Aug 5) at around 6.26pm.

Stomper Chew who was driving behind the lorry on a different lane, was amused at the sight of the flying mattress.

He sent to Stomp a footage of the incident captured on his vehicle's dashboard camera.

In the footage, the mattress appeared to land on a road divider.

Said Chew:

"Luckily no one was driving at the back of the lorry.

"If it had been a motorcycle, the rider could have been thrown off.

"But even if it was a car, the spring in the mattress could have punctured the tires."
