Items thrown out of Buangkok bedroom window turn out to be vapes, man arrested
Items thrown out of a Buangkok Crescent bedroom window turned out to be vape products, including a suspected Kpod.
Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officers raided the flat on Sept 25 and arrested a man, 29, for drug trafficking.
Before the arrest, items were seen discarded from the unit's bedroom window.
The items were later retrieved and found to be vape-related products including a pod believed to contain etomidate.
In the early morning of the same day, CNB officers also arrested a 28-year-old man at Hougang Street 51.
Numerous vape-related products including 524 e-vaporiser pods believed to contain etomidate, and cash including $3,500 were found and subsequently seized.
The two Singaporeans were among 77 suspected drug offenders nabbed in an islandwide anti-drug operation from Sept 21 to 26. The areas covered included Aljunied, Boon Keng and Selegie.
On the evening of Sept 21, CNB officers raided a residential unit at New Bridge Road and arrested a 60-year-old Singaporean man, and about 106g of heroin and 26g of Ice were recovered from the residence.
In the early morning of Sept 24, a 46-year-old Singaporean woman was arrested at Champions Way in Woodlands. CNB officers seized about 143g of heroin, 18g of Ice, 65g of cannabis and 10g of ketamine.
Throughout the six-day operation, a total of about 351g of heroin, 99g of Ice, 69g of cannabis, 10g of ketamine, one Ecstasy tablet, one bottle of methadone, numerous vape-related products including 527 suspected Kpods and cash amounting to $4,228.70 were seized.

The drugs seized are estimated to be worth more than $74,000.
It is an offence for a person to traffic in a controlled drug. If found guilty of trafficking more than 15g of diamorphine or "pure heroin", he or she may face the mandatory death penalty.
Investigations into all the arrested suspects are ongoing.
