Isuzu lorry collides with motorcycle in hit-and-run on PIE, rider taken to hospital
A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after a hit-and-run accident on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Dec 30.
Stomper Lau Lau alerted Stomp to a dashcam video of the accident posted online by SG Road Vigilante.
The video caption alleged that an Isuzu pick-up was speeding and changing lanes when it hit the motorcycle.
In response to Stomp query, the police said they were alerted at about 11.30pm to the hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle and a lorry on the PIE towards Changi before Jalan Eunos.
The 22-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when taken to the hospital.
A 44-year-old male driver is assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
