Is the Chernobyl disaster zone really dead?

The Chernobyl site has been known to be a no-go and dead zone ever since the 26 April 1986 tragedy in Ukraine.

A catastrophic nuclear accident, it caused 31 direct deaths and led to much more suffering even after years.

The area has been isolated ever since due to high radiation levels that make it uninhabitable for people.

Animals, however, have started to appear and flourish there, after three decades.
