A 43-year-old Irish national was arrested for his involvement in two cases of shop theft in the transit area of Changi Airport.

Preliminary investigations revealed that on June 8, the man had allegedly taken two bottles of perfumes from a display shelf and left the store without paying.

The perfumes had a total value of $491.70 and were found to be missing by staff members while they were taking inventory stock.

Further investigations revealed that he had also stolen a perfume valued at $167 from another The Shilla Cosmetics and Perfumes outlet in the transit area of Changi Airport Terminal 1 prior to his arrest.
