Hougang bicycle bay 'looks much better' after Stomp report, says resident
A bicycle parking area at Block 117 Hougang Avenue 1 has been cleared following a Stomp report.
Stomp reported that a resident had expressed concerns over the area being used as a "storage place".
In a photo taken on Oct 1 by Stomper John, items, including styrofoam boxes, plastic bags, buckets, and other personal belongings, were stacked around some bicycles.

In response to a Stomp query, the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council (AHTC) said they regularly remove derelict and abandoned bicycles from void deck bicycle racks.
An AHTC spokesperson said the town council noted that some items were mounted on and next to the bicycles.
The spokesperson added that considering some of these items may be a part of the owners' livelihoods, they contacted the owners and gave them a grace period to find an alternative space to store their items.
The town council will remove the items if the owners fail to do so themselves before the grace period expires.

On Oct 10 following Stomp's report, John updated: "Thank you. It looks much better.
"However it will look the same after 2 months."
