Hit-and-run accident leaves 65-year-old motorcyclist unconscious on KJE
A 65-year-old motorcyclist was left unconscious after a hit-and-run accident with a van on Kranji Expressway (KJE).
The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident along KJE towards Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) on April 7, at around 5.30pm.
The male motorcyclist was unconscious when taken to hospital.
Photos published by Shin Min Daily News show the motorcyclist lying on the road with his bike and shoes nearby.
The van driver reportedly left the scene after the collision. A passing motorist spotted the victim lying on the road, gotten out of his car to help and called the police.
The accident also resulted in a traffic jam that lasted hours.
Police investigations are ongoing.
