Guy pushed out of Pop Toy Show after shouting match with security officers: 'Get out!'
A guy was made to leave the Pop Toy Show by security officers after he got into a shouting match with them.
The Pop Mart event was held from Aug 22 to 24 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
Stomper Randy alerted Stomp to a video of the incident in the crowded venue posted online.
In the video, the young man can be seen pointing at someone in the crowd and accusing the person of jumping queue as security officers blocked him from going forward.
"Get out!" shouted the young man.
A security officer then made his way towards the young man and shouted in his face to "shut up" repeatedly.
The young man defended himself, saying: "I followed the rules."
As the security officer continued yelling at him to "shut up", the young man then turned his anger towards the security officer.
He challenged the security officer: "What you want? You want to beat me?"
That was when another security officer stepped in and told the young man to "go out".
Another security officer joined in and shouted at the young man: "Get out!"
The young man momentarily stood his ground at first but then let himself be pushed out of the venue by the security officers.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at 10 Bayfront Avenue on Aug 24 at about 9.30am.
Three men, aged between 22 and 29, are assisting with investigations.
The police also told Stomp that in an unrelated incident on the same day, they were alerted to a case of voyeurism at the same address at 4.45pm and a 29-year-old man was arrested.
Police investigations for both cases are ongoing.
