Good Eat's Family Restaurant at Tanjong Pagar Plaza suspended 2 weeks for offences including infestation
The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has suspended the licence of Good Eat’s Family Restaurant at Tanjong Pagar Plaza for two weeks from Sept 3 to 16.
The eatery accumulated 12 demerit points within a 12-month period and was fined $800 for failing to register an assistant and for failing to keep its premises free of infestation.
Good Eat’s Family Restaurant has been featured in several videos on TikTok.
Also, the Tong Luck food stall in the Broadway coffee shop at 644 Hougang Avenue 8 has been suspended for two weeks from Sept 3 to 16 and fined $800 for infestation.
SFA added that a licensee who accumulates 12 or more demerit points during a 12-month period may have his licence suspended for a period of either two or four weeks or cancelled.
All food handlers working in the suspended premises would also be required to re-attend and pass the WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1, before they can resume work as food handlers.
The licensee is also required to ensure that all food hygiene officers working in the suspended premises, if any, re-attend and pass the Workforce Skills Qualifications Food Safety Course Level 3.
